Dishdle

Terms

Dishdle is a free daily game. These terms are short on purpose: play fair, only send in what is yours, and tell us if something is wrong so we can fix it fast.

The deal

Dishdle is free to play, with no account and no paywall. We work hard on it, but it is provided as is: we cannot promise it will always be up, bug-free, or that a puzzle will never be wrong. Your progress is saved only on your device, so clearing your browser data clears it. We may change or retire features over time.

Sending in photos

Some games show photos sent in by players. By submitting a photo you confirm all of the following: the photo is yours to share, it shows food (not people, brands or anything private), you are 13 or older, and you give Dishdle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show the photo in the game and in share images, credited to the display name you chose, if you added one.

You keep ownership of your photo, and you can withdraw it whenever you like: email hello@dishdle.com and we will take it out of the game. Every submission is reviewed by a human before it can appear, and we may decline or remove any photo for any reason.

Reporting a photo or anything else

If a photo or any other content on Dishdle should not be here, whether it is yours, it infringes something, or it is just wrong, email hello@dishdle.com with a link or a screenshot. Reports are read by a person, we aim to act within a few days, and clearly unlawful content comes down as soon as we see it. If you are unhappy with how a report was handled, reply and say so: the same person who runs the site handles complaints, and we keep a record of both.

Fair play

Please do not attack the site, scrape it aggressively, stuff the ballot in Versus, or use submissions to advertise. We can block abusive traffic to keep the game working for everyone.

The legal bits

To the extent the law allows, Dishdle is not liable for losses arising from playing a free puzzle game; nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says cannot be limited. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we change them, the date below changes too.
